Note: Percentages refer to the proportion of U.S. teachers, education pensioners, and U.S. public safety pensioners represented by 9FB Capital’s Limited Partners (LPs). Pensioners include all participants in a U.S. public pension fund, both current public employees entitled to future benefits and former employees receiving benefits. Methodology: Percentages are calculated by analyzing data on U.S. public pension plans and their beneficiaries from the Center for Retirement Research website. The dataset categorizes beneficiaries by type (e.g., Teachers & Education, Public Safety), and these pension funds are then matched with 9FB Capital’s public pension LPs, as maintained in our internal database. The result is the number of beneficiaries covered by 9FB Capital, divided by the total number of beneficiaries in each pensioner type to calculate percentages. Figures are rounded down for conservatism.
